Picking a paint color was much more difficult than we anticipated. We knew we wanted to breakaway from the traditional tans, but we were having a difficult time embracing other color options. Or at least I was (Travis loved any color that wasn’t tan). But after much debate we finally agreed to go for a color between beige and gray, what some call greige. So after 4 trips to Home Depot and 15 color samples we decided on…(drumroll)… Wheat Bread by Bher. Here’s a sample of the color that I got from their handy dandy website.
And since we only have partialy painted walls at the moment, I did some googling for fully painted rooms and found this pretty pic here!
Our next big decision will be figuring out what color to paint the kitchen. We are trying to decide between a dark greige or a pop of color! I guess actually having cabinets might help us decide, huh? From what I hear they are being installed this week, but I feel like I’ve been saying that for 3 weeks now! Oh well, if there is one thing I’ve learned this past month it’s that you will NEVER finish things on time.

It is the perfect grey. And we are very happy with our wood tiles!! I will be even happier once we are finished grouting.

Yes!! Wheat Bread is a great color, huh?!
and we ended up doing The Perfect Taupe by Behr. It’s a bit darker, but really pops against the white cabinets.
